A tangy and spicy pickle which can be used as accompaniment to so many dishes…. So here is the recipe….
3 Carrots, thinly sliced and julienne cut
50-60g Green Chillies
1 tbsp Mustard seeds(small)
1 1/2 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Lemon, juice of
Put the layer of green chillies in the jar, followed by the layer of carrots over it. Now add all the spices. Close the lid and shake properly. Keep the jar in the sun for 2-3 days so till it gets sour and a little tender. Enjoy this zesty pickle with parathas, or as side dish to the main course…
